Flower Meaning
There is a flower which possesses this peculiarity that it turns constantly to the sun, following it in its course; on this account it is called the sunflower. Our faith may be compared to this flower, since its gaze is ever fixed above, and turned toward the glorious sun of divine truth.

We had a great first Little Flowers meeting today! The Wreath 1 girls colored pictures of St. Therese of Lisieux and St. Catherine of Sienna while listening to a story about the “Little Flower”. Then, we talked about our virtue for this month, faith, and how it means believing in something we can not see – Like the wind! Our flower for this virtue is the sunflower, so we made handprint sunflower canvasses to hang up in their homes. We ended our meeting with some sunflower cupcakes, songs, and the Act of Faith prayer. It is such a blessing to teach our young ladies in such a fun and holy “Little Way”! From Leader Sofia C. via Facebook
