Flower Meaning

The Morning Glory is the first flower to greet you in the morning and one of the best ways to be friendly is to greet your neighbors with a happy “Good Morning,” such a thoughtful act can be the best way for you, and your neighbors, to start a day with a cheerful attitude.

    Here are a few activities you can do with your group to learn more about these things.

    1) Weave a Friendship Band

    The blue strand represents Ruth’s life and the yellow strand represents Naomi’s and the band explains how their friendship kept them together through thick and thin. There’s a great explanation for it and more detailed instructions for the craft on this site.

    2) Morning Glory Muffins

    “Flower muffns???” You may be asking me. Not so fast. These muffins have no actual flowers in them, they are simply named after the flower. However, they can still make a tasty addition to your meeting. Learn how to make these delicious treats here.

    3) Ruth and Naomi Game and Craft

    This one is going to take a lot more work from you, since it requires a variety of materials, planning, and light manual labor.
