Cranberry facts
- Cranberry plants produce lovely flowers and cranberries which are edible and are high in antioxidants.
- The name comes from “crane-berry” because the flower looks like the head of a crane.
- If all the cranberry bogs in North America were put together they would be about 47 square miles large.
